For an international company in the global agribusiness market in Basel we are looking for a

Paralegal (m/f/d) - temporary role for 8-12 months, 100%

Your challenges

• Drive standardization and optimization of legal processes in collaboration with Legal Operations leadership team
• Manage contract lifecycle
• Drive Legal project management
• Coordinate Corporate Governance process worldwide and maintain corporate records
• Support Preparation and Execution of contracts and other legal documents
• Build strong business partnering relationships with clients
• Review of legal processes with a view to optimize them and to discharge legal counsel
• Draft, edit, review, and finalizing standard agreements and other legal documents, either independently or in collaboration with HQ legal teams.
• Maintain Corporate governance housekeeping in compliance with relevant laws and policies
• Establish and maintain standard processes for managing Legal Operations projects consistently and efficiently in collaboration with project Leads/ Managers
• Perform legal research
• Collect and analyze data, create reports, summaries, and recommendations

Your skills

• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Fluent written and spoken English, other languages as an advantage
• Proficient understanding of legal management systems (Corporate Housekeeping, contract lifecycle management, matter management and others)
• Proven problem-solving skills; strategic and analytical thinking
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work very well across functions and cultures at all level
• Problem solving with proactive and initiative taking
• Superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
• Proactive, autonomous and flexible personality with very good organizational skills
