Job Description: Personal Assistant & House Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to a Founder both at home- 80%, Office-20%.. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of discretion, exceptional organizational abilities, and the flexibility to handle a wide range of duties that vary from day-to-day. This job is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. 2 Hours direct flight away from Bangkok.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the executive's calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Manage chef, two drivers and other contract workers that need hiring for small projects at home. We use “ Cashbook” app for finance tracking, and another app for attendance.
- Track everything digitally.
- Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the executive, ensuring prompt and accurate relay of messages.
- Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
- Assist with personal errands and tasks, including but not limited to shopping, booking personal appointments, and managing household staff.
- Coordinate events and functions, both professional and personal, ensuring smooth execution.
- Act as the first point of contact for the executive, filtering inquiries and requests.
- Conduct research and prepare briefings on various topics as required.
- Manage and reconcile expenses, ensuring accurate record keeping and budget tracking.
- Provide ad-hoc support on projects, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Book appointments in foreign countries during travel
- Travel with the CEO as needed.
- We have two people and a cat at home. Both individuals travel more than two weeks within a month. Must love cat.
- Knows how to throw a well curated dinner party , from start to end , and set a table and supervise staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior-level executives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.
- A valid driver's license is an asset but not mandatory. However if you do not have it, you should get it within six months of joining the company.
- Must have a valid passport and willing to travel.
Education:
- Completion of High School is required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred and will consider experience in lieu of education.
Work Environment:
This position may require both office and home, with flexibility according to the executive's schedule and needs. It may also involve travel, both domestic and international.
