Job opportunity Director of Sales & Marketing Thailand Our client is a 150+ room resort hotel in Thailand with 7 outlets and events space. As part of an international group, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team. Category: Sales & Business Development Posted by: Recruiter Reporting to the General Manager, the DOSM will be responsible for a team of about 15 across sales, marketing, e-commerce, revenue, and reservations.Profile and Experience required: Demonstrable experience within the leisure and MICE segmentsResort hotel experienceExperienced in both sales and marketingCreative, thinks out of the box, capable of developing new approaches/tailor-made programmesVery strong on revenue and yieldUnderstands the need to react in an ever-changing marketplace: aware of current and potential future trends regarding all aspects of the travel industry including booking patterns, and emerging markets e.g. developing business from Asia, especially China.Ideally, this person will have been at DOSM for at least two years, but a very experienced DOS who has strong leadership skills, the required leisure experience and a demonstrable involvement and understanding of marketing are welcome to apply.Willing to travel and be self-motivated, being the brand ambassador for the hotel and brand at all times This is a local package, the company will offer a competitive net salary in line with the market and the candidate’s experience and expectations.Please kindly note: If you are already registered with us at HOCAPS or are keen to know more about this and other opportunities, please email me directly: at [email protected] already registered with HOCAPS, it is not necessary to send a CV unless it needs to be updated from our last contact with you.
