Job Description: Ourclient is a Leader of production and operation in oil and gas, they are lookingfor a contractor 3 years in Senior Production Operator, working as arotation: in Gulf of Thailand. JobResponsibilities: Monitor plantoperations on site which includes to accommodate fluctuations in operations,report toSupervisor any abnormalities and discrepancies or defects on equipment,instruments or any anomalies such defective and/ or corroded piping, structureor equipment for further rectificationOpen and shut various valves manually. Start andstop pumps and rotating equipment in accordance with set procedures andSupervisor’s instructions. Perform normal routine and specific work i.e.pigging operation, ESD testing, etc. on the remote platform, troubleshoot,start up and shut down according to Panel Operators and/ or Supervisor’sinstructions including following sequential procedure of opening/closing valvesand associated equipment. Control work permit and activities on remoteplatform on behalf of Production Supervisor including other specific jobs suchhook-up commissioning, well operation, construction work Carry out routine checks of plant operatingconditions in accordance with set schedules including taking samples,recording, reading, checking running conditions of various equipment, etc. Carry out plant housekeeping and minor frontlinemaintenance as required e.g. greasing, cleaning, and fixing or replacing minorparts on plant and equipment which knowledge and competence to perform. Examine daily log-sheets and highlight anyanomalies observed. Be able to operate central complex and remotewellhead platforms by HMI, DCS and SCADA systems. Coach Operators/ new Operators and providesupervision and assistance to them during routine and non-routine operation. Regularly perform ESD testing and ensure, whenworking on remote platform, that safety shut-down system is in good workingorder according to schedules. Perform work activities in conformance tohygiene policy and concern e.g. sea line batch treatment, pig recovery, filterchange over, and keep high contaminated area on platform clean. Assist to perform specific work i.e. intelligentpigging operation, filter change over, process field trail test. Perform other similar or related duties such asensuring an adequate supply of consumable on site, observing all SSHE rules andregulations, maintaining basic files and records, etc. Refill chemical tanks as required and monitorthe injections at specified rates. Perform booster compressor stop/ start/ runningoperation and front-line maintenance as instructed by Supervisor. Take all appropriate actions and steps in caseof emergency according to Production Team Leader and Production Supervisor’sinstructions. Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHEpolicy, rules and regulations for all work under responsibility. Additional responsibilities which are dependingon field work Be able to operate central complex and remotewellhead platforms by DCS and SCADA systems. Operate according to situations arising atvarious stages, various control in struments, regulating power, flows,temperature, pressures, etc. to achieve daily production target at maximumutilization of available resources. Maintain all control activities on ProductionPlatform, Quarter Platform and Wellhead Platforms. Be involved in control andadministration of plant work permit procedure. Operate from the control room’s operatorworkstation, OWS, the overall control system (process control system, emergencyshutdown, and fire & gas system). Regularly check and ensure that they arefunctioned correctly and safely. Provide work direction and assistance to processand utilities operators. Ensure that they are in compliance with Company SSHErules and regulations. Record a range of data on daily log-sheets atpre-determines intervals, make calculations and record details. Prepare daily production reports on plant andwell performance. Indicate well parameters, any work carried out on well, etc.and ensure an efficient filing of all recorded data. Report unplanned operational deviations toSupervisor and take corrective action where these fall within his scope andcompetence. Report to Supervisor any discrepancies ordefects on equipment and/ or instruments. Carry out all necessary inhibition of element/system when required (through work permit) and keep accurate log status of theplant at all times. Perform other related duties such as reportingmalfunction of consoles equipment, maintaining the control room area in a cleanand tidy condition. Operate and control plant condition to meetproduction target as per product specification. Monitor the EWRS (AIS) system and reportsuspected Intruders. Be a part of ERT, Initial responses to emergencyand proper report to Supervisor/Superintendent (F&G alarm, etc.). Specialassignment Perform isolation on small power supply ascertified in Basic principle of electrical system. Be a part of intervention and emergency fireteam member. Work with related company staff.Qualifications: Thai Nationality onlyTechnical Diploma in related field5-8 years’ experience in production operation inoil and gas industry or similar. Experience in well or plant operation is anadvantage.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the position ofOperator, Production is required.Good command of both spoken and written EnglishModerate physical effort of standing, walking,and climbing for 50% of work timeCertified in Authorized Gas Test and ConfinedspaceBe able to rotate to other fields as per companymanpower arrangement. CertificateRequirements: Valid Certificateof BOSIET, TFOET, FOET Valid medicalreports with fit-to-work results.
