Job Description: Our client is a Leader of the production and operation in the oiland gas, they are looking for a contractor 3 years in “Technician, Mechanical(FSO)”, working as a rotation: in the Gulf of Thailand. Job Responsibilities: Monitor the FSO2 mechanical equipment performance andcomplete log sheets.Execute mechanical preventive maintenance of all mechanicalequipment including rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, static equipment andother systems as per schedule and job cards, and in accordance with Chief Engineer(FSO)’s instructions.Report on spare parts and consumable requirements and suggest an improvement for the schedule and the frequency of preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs by using availabletools and control equipment, drawings, diagrams, and vendors manuals.Complete mechanical maintenance logbook, work order summaryreports, daily timesheets, and submit Chief Engineer (FSO).Draft work requests and requisitions concerning maintenanceand supply of consumables and submit to Chief Engineer (FSO) for approvalincluding an update on spare part inventory.Act as an emergency team member and a rescue team member.Supervise the engine room work activities which carry out by the contractor.Comply with and promote the Company’s SSHE policy, rules andregulations to all work under the responsibility.Act as coxswain on the lifeboat for ship’s abandon.Act as a fireman, spill clean-up team member, and lifeboatevacuation team member for emergency response. Qualifications:Thai national only.Technical Diploma in Mechanical or related field plus 2-yearformal mechanical training Possess STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency “SecondEngineer Officer on ships powered by main propulsion machinery of 3000 kW ormore” with IMO endorsement for dangerous goods.Attended all compulsory courses required by STCW 95 2010 convention.Minimum 3 years experience as Engineer Officer in OilTanker or 5 years experience as a mechanical technician in the oil and gas industry.Good command of both spoken and written English. Certificate Requirements: Valid Certificate of Tropical Basic Offshore SafetyInduction & Emergency Training or Basic Offshore Safety Induction & EmergencyTraining (BOSIET) or Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET) or FurtherOffshore Emergency Training (FOET).Valid medical reports with fit-to-work results.The above-mentioned certificates on minimum requirementssection.Basic Fire Fighting Training.Basic First Aid Training.Rigging Slinging & Lifting Training.Confined Space Entry & Breathing Apparatus Training.Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain/Further Offshore LifeboatCoxswain.Fast Rescue Craft (FRC).
