Sales Area Manager | Mekong Region based in Thailand or VietnamAPPLYOur client specializes in developing, producing, and marketing feed additives to improve animal health, performance, and welfare. Their diverse product range includes probiotics, prebiotics, organic acids, aromatic substances, lecithins, emulsifiers, and toxin binders, tailored for various animals such as poultry, swine, ruminants, aquaculture, and pets. They invest heavily in research and development, collaborating with academic and industry experts to ensure scientifically validated, effective products. With a strong global presence and a commitment to sustainability and high-quality standards, they are dedicated to providing safe, effective, and environmentally friendly nutritional solutions for animals. Now we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Area Manager to oversee our operations in the Mekong Region: These are some of the tasks and responsibilities we entrust to your care: Market Development: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the Mekong Region, particularly in Vietnam and Thailand. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including feed mills, current and new distributors, veterinarians, and industry influencers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert knowledge and guidance on feed formulation and additives. A strong focus on feed mills and having a relationship with the key decision-makers will be highly valued. Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting our products and services to feed mills and other relevant businesses. Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, product positioning, and negotiation. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and training to customers and distributors on feed formulation, product usage, and best practices. Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes affecting the animal nutrition market in the Mekong Region. Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Marketing: Support and organize major events in the region, congress (e.g., VIV ASIA), and symposiums, and represent the company in major exhibitions. Keep updated the CRM to provide useful information for decision-making. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align sales strategies with business objectives. Provide input on product enhancements, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities. The desired profile: (Preferably) Degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agribusiness or similar Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in and broad understanding of the animal feed industry Fluency in Thai and English languages (written and spoken), and Vietnamese will be highly valued Meets Sales Goals, has good negotiation and planning skills, works with Customer Needs, builds new relationships, practices Coaching and Staffing Has a solid understanding of the technical nature of sales, feed formulation, and animal production systems with focus on swine, poultry and ruminant operations Has an integrative and proactive personality with ability to take initiative and solve problems Is available to travel domestically and occasionally internationally Identifies exhibition and congresses interesting for the company, for the objective of increase market penetration, image and prestige Possesses good communication skills and the ability to deal with cross-functional and intercultural teams Is autonomous, reliable and a result-driven person Collaborates in the definition of the market strategy What would mean for you: Be part of an organization with more than 30 year of expertise and successful results Manage a high-quality and competitive portfolio based on many different products and qualified staff The consequent training and development of horizons through the attendance of specialized international conferences Well-established, developing and new markets Unique company culture, broad diversity and room to bring your own ideas Competitive fixed and variable compensation, company car, and other benefits
