Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

Take your sales leadership to the next level as the Field Sales Director for a Large Market at Reckitt, where you’ll create and execute our field sales channel strategy and inspire your team to deliver sustainable growth. In this role, you stand at the forefront of our commercial business, acting as a driving force championing talent mobility between commercial and field roles. This is your chance to not only lead but inspire a national sales team, building a culture of inclusion, collaboration and success.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:
- Lead the sales and customer strategy implementation for the field sales channel, driving business growth nationwide.
- Foster joint business partnerships and develop personalised sales plans for each channel to meet strategic goals.
- Energise and steer a large, talented team across the country, creating a cohesive and effective sales force.
- Implement operational plans that align with company-wide objectives for product placement, pricing, and promotions.
- Demonstrate financial acumen by managing profit & loss and ensuring that sales strategies are cost-effective and generate revenue.

The experience we're looking for

- Solid background in sales with a top-tier FMCG company, handling key international retailers at a national level or higher.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role, ideally coupled with insights from marketing, trade marketing, or finance.
- Expertise in creating and executing customer and channel sales strategies, with a knack for negotiation.
- A commitment to operational excellence with a track record of effectively managing and executing sales plans.
- A collaborative approach to leadership, able to nurture partnerships and drive results through influential and consultative selling
