voestalpine Railway Systems Asia Co., Ltd. with its headquarter in Bangkok (Thailand), is the hub for all activities of the voestalpine Railway Systems Group in South East Asia. With the headquarter in Bangkok, a turnout manufacturing plant in Kabinburi (Thailand) and sales offices in Seoul (Korea) and Hongkong, voestalpine Railway Systems Asia serves customers for high speed, mixed, urban and heavy haul applications in the whole region.

The Sales Manager of voestalpine Railway Systems Asia is responsible for the management of the sales/marketing department and all sales/marketing related matters of the company.

  • Build up and maintain close contact with customers and develop voestalpine Railway Systems’ business in the region
  • Evaluation of customer inquiries and preparation/calculation of offers in close cooperation with other departments
  • Preparation and negotiation of contracts
  • Monitoring of offers and orders
  • Maintaining the CRM system
  • Preparation of sales forecasts/budgets
  • Defining and planning of marketing activities
  • Preparation of market reports/analyses 
  • QualificationsQualifications

  • University or higher technical college degree in the field of technical sales/industrial engineering or economics with a good technical understanding
  • Turnout and railway infrastructure knowledge is an advantage
  • Solid sales experience
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Organizational skills, reliability, entrepreneurial thinking, loyalty and openness towards other/Asian culture(s)
  • Fluent in English (German and/or Thai skills are an advantage)
  • High flexibility, resilience and willingness to travel

    Salary Package and Benefits:The salary agreement for this position is € 5.,- gross (12 x per year) plus a variable remuneration of up to 20 % of the gross salary (target agreement). However, the actual payment depends on the particular qualification and experience.

    In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes housing allowance, annual home flights and an international medical insurance.
