Job Description - AVP - Accounting (Property Developer/ Construction)


  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting

  • CPD is a must, CPA is favorable                 

  • 8-10 years’ experience in construction, manufacturing or propertuy development industries and responsible for similar functions as described above. 

  • Minimum of 5 years management level with leadership and mentering team.

  • Business management and analytical skill, leadership, advance in accounting and tax knowledge, computer skill and fluent in English.


  • Manage accounting team included of AP, AR, GL, Costing for Property Developer/ Construction company to maintain timely and accurate financial statements and accounting records

  • Prepare a monthly consolidated management account and report to senior management and all relevant stakeholders that are appropriate for the managements and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Develop financial operating reports, such as annual plans, quarterly forecasts, periodic reviews and updates. Identify and investigate areas of concerns, support key decision making through those analysis.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial accounting across the firm

  • Develop and Implement to ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures aimed to improve the workflow of the department and provide training to new or existing staff if necessary

  • Assess cash flow statements and forecast

  • Analyze and review overhead costs and approve all invoices and journals

  • Update trend and improve the accounting and automation process by customizing the ERP systems

  • Liaise with external auditors for filing of income tax returns and statutory audits

  • Coach, manage and maintain an active team of talented senior and staff accountants

  • Be the business partner work collaborate across the organization, including but not limited to finance and strategy, accounting, legal, tax, treasury, and operations and all relevant stakeholder of the company

  • Perform any other special duties, projects or analyses as directed by the company.
