Job Description - Battery Mechanical Engineer

Our client is focused on technology development via R&D, accelerator, incubator, and corporate venture capital initiatives.

Responsibilities

Battery System Design: Collaborating to design battery packs, enclosures, and mounting solutions.

Mechanical Integrity: Analyzing, simulating, and testing to evaluate structural integrity and vibration resistance.

Safety and Compliance: Ensuring battery systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Testing and Validation: Developing and implementing testing procedures to evaluate battery performance.

Line Assembly Integration: Incorporating testing procedures into the line assembly process for quality control.

Documentation and Reporting: Preparing technical reports and documentation related to battery system design and testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience in battery system design and development.

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design techniques.

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for battery systems.

Experience with testing and validation procedures for batteries.

Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
