This is a role within the Thailand Cash Equity Sales team in the front office where you will work in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment.
As an experienced candidate within Equity Sales, you will be responsible for stockbroking - developing and maintaining key institutional investor client relationships and playing a central role in distributing . Morgan’s Thailand and global equity product.
Job responsibilities:
Develops and maintains key institutional investor client relationships, playing a central role in distributing JP Morgan’s Thailand and global equity product. Assists the team in Thailand and Regionally in equity sales related job responsibilities. Demonstrates good understanding of the equities product and be able to market the product effectively among a broad range of clients (such as asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, hedge funds . Generates trade ideas and share market insights. Demonstrates proficiency in writing and speaking on the markets / stocks. Develops a collaborative approach with business partners across trading, research, syndicate, investor access and others to provide comprehensive client coverage, delivering the whole firm in order to maximise the client experience. Demonstrates proficiency in identifying market drivers while showing a high degree of interest in learning about other products in order to develop cross-product skill sets. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience – ideally in equities sell/buyside or corporate finance / capital markets. A strong command of English and Thai language is required – in order to be able to interact with domestic and foreign investors. Possesses strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency. Strong understanding of fundamental analysis Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative abilities Strong team player that is detail oriented with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and self-manage priorities Effective communication skills to interact with internal partners and clients Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
