JOB TITLE: Director of Sales Operations
REPORTS TO: CEO (Asia)
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales Operations takes responsibility for the continuous optimization of the sales process across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and India. Professionalizing BurdaLuxury’s Sales Operations is a core component of our growth strategy; the successful candidate will be tasked with creating smooth, cost-efficient operations across the region while always targeting to fulfill the communication goals and expected ROI of our clients locally or regionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Building, leading, and continually developing the ad operations and sales support teams across 5 countries
• Optimizing, tracking, and controlling sales profitability
• Establishing an efficient sales operations structure that will promote and implement strategy and operational models to deliver high and consistent service levels to the organization to grow revenue
• Developing and implementing sales policies, procedures, and key performance metrics
• Creating a knowledge hub to share capabilities and best practices Pan-Asia-wide, as well as building a culture of sharing across borders
• Establishing systematic methods of gathering market information; providing market, competitor, and brand insights for the MDs, marketing, and sales teams
• Introducing tools and dashboards that best align with our sales strategy and our IT ecosystem; sales reporting, forecasting, campaign reporting, developmental plans, document control
• Actively supporting the local management and senior sales in all aspects of planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimization, sales development, and sales team compensation
• Participating in management decision-making processes concerning sales issues and procedures
• Providing guidance to local sales leadership, local MDs and the CEO regarding ad sales products and pricing with the goal of how to best reach revenue targets while also maximizing ROI for advertisement clients
QUALIFICATIONS
• 10 years’ experience in sales operation, preferably working across different media channels (print, digital, events)
• Exceptional analytical skills and a passion for the insights that result from those analyses; possess the ability to analyze complex information and data, and translate these findings into actionable deliverables, strategies, targets, messages, and presentations
• Demonstrating a strong business acumen and having proven planning skills and executive presence
• Record of successfully introducing new sales products, operational systems, and cross-border strategies
• Result-oriented with a proactive personality
• Experience in working with cross-functional and multinational teams
• Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
• Excellent communication skills both in written and
