Job Description - HRBP (ER)

Our client is a leading medical device manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Employee Communication & Engagement

  • Initiating and executing in-house employee communication programs and employee events through building strategic channels and platforms, such as newsletters, in-house publications, surveys, etc.
  • Initiating and publicizing all employee functions and celebrations including Town hall, skip-level meetings, open forums, and award ceremonies.
  • Being a leader of plant employee engagement to support the growth and development of employees.
  • Coordinating global / BU / regional employee engagement programs to make sure the survey is being implemented smoothly.
  • Driving actions to improve employee engagement such as town hall, canteen, benefit and welfare, and team building.
  • Monitoring the labor legislation and implementing required changes to keep the process in compliance.
  • Responding to and managing employee relations issues, coaching employees and managers on performance management, and executing performance improvement plans.
  • Managing warning and termination process of all related cases regarding disciplinary actions and coordinating by consulting with the legal team for necessary actions in avoidance of labor law issues.
  • Handling with employee’s representative committee.
  • Being the consultant and providing support to business units and strategic partnerships.
  • Responding to queries of employees and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance

  • Executing and supporting HR Operation Manager on related to employee relation matters (ensuring problems are dealt with speedily and at the lowest possible level, by laid down policies), including discipline, capability, grievance, absence control, redundancy, appraisal, harassment, etc.
  • Executing and support on conducting exit interviews, and responsible for the process of MAT, RIF, etc., in line with company and government regulations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in HR management or the related field.
  • At least 3-5 years experience working in HR generalist, ER, Labor law, Training preferably for an international company, reporting to a foreign national.
  • Good human relations, a positive attitude, high responsibility, and problem-solving skills with a good service mind.
  • Strong self-motivated and proactive with strong analytical skills.
  • Good Communication Skills in English.
  • The successful candidate will be fluent in the English language, proficient in the use of MS Office and various IT tools, and be service minded and mature, with a pleasant personality and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and good management skills.
