IFF is seeking for a highly dedicated individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technician . This position is based in Thailand and will report to Maintenance Reliability and Capital Manager.
Your Focus
To perform PM jobs, installation, repair and all mechanical equipment used in Productions and Utilities under supervision of Mechanical Supervisor in order to ensure a proper and safe operation and maximizing the availability of the production and utilities machinery.
1. Mechanical Engineering
Support production operations through the effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems; Maintain and enhance the plant's equipment and facilities including applying corrective engineering techniques to effect improvements in equipment reliability performance; Repairing and preventive maintenance for all machines and equipment in Production, Utilities Install, fabricates and modifies mechanical parts of machinery Performs damaged mechanical parts for reuse and keep as spare parts for prompt service and availability of spare parts. Performs Maintenance for all machinery and equipment in Productions and Utilities Work together with external contractors under FMC safety regulation Perform the PM check sheet and repair report. Attends “Maintenance Meeting” chaired by Maintenance Manager or direct Supervisor Performs other related duties of a similar type at a similar level. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. 2. Safety, Health, and Environment, Quality and Food Safety
Support EHS, quality&food safety policies and procedures by ensuring that all maintenance work and engineering projects assigned have been critically reviewed for safety health and Environmental considerations; Provide training assistance whenever possible to ensure the contractor safety awareness; Monitor and ensure completion of facility inspections; Act as a liaison with inspection and insurance agencies in terms of annual equipment inspections, insurance related inspections, provincial/federal mandated inspections and IFF regulated inspections. Support the site behavioral based safety program (REACT), Environmental management program by participating in observations and providing constructive feedback for Environmental Health and safety improvement. Ensure all work is conducted with respect to safety precautions, equipment safety devices; and understand Environment Aspect perspective. Follow cGMP&HACCP Practice
Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
Minimum Diploma Degree and above in a field of Mechanical /Electrical or equivalent. 0 - 3 years in a Maintenance role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment. Good working knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with working knowledge of SAP highly desirable. Good analytical skills with demonstrated ability to consistently solve problems in a decisive and efficient manner. Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, graphics & database) English communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and interpersonal skills. IFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
