Job Description - Office Assistant

Job Description

Interesting opportunity for an Assistant to CEO /Office Manager/Administrator to join a small but dynamic company that works in the research and analytics area. The company has less than 5 employees so main duties are to help the owner of the business in the day to day admin so he can spend time on other areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily administrative duties and complete a broad variety of tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments and meetings.
  • Assisting with project tasks.
  • Completing expense reports & logging or processing bills or expenses.
  • Writing and editing email correspondence.
  • Arranging complex and detailed travel plans and creating itineraries.
  • Organizing documents and paperwork and maintaining a filing system.
  • Prioritizing workload.
  • Implementing new procedures and administrative systems.
  • Reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Ensure day to day operation runs efficiently, screening calls and directing visitors as necessary.
  • Interface with facilities and building maintenance, manage inventory and order office materials as needed to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Gain a strong understanding of the business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be on call outside of normal office hours.
  • Supervising staff and new employees.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail.
  • Must be fluent in English and Thai languages (both written and verbal).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while simultaneously handling multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to think critically and react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround time.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and applications including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Dropbox, Skype, Discord, Telegram, Whatsapp, etc.
