Job Description - Product Marketing Manager

Our client is a world-class equipment and services company working in agriculture and construction. The company is now seeking candidates for the role of Product Marketing Manager.

Role Purpose:

Work with the Business Manager to assist in the development of the sales activity in the SE Asia and Japan regional market, working with the distributor and dealers. Advising on product specifications and fitness for use.

Available to assist markets for specific purposes such as product launches, promotional activities, product training, and campaigns. Budget accordingly.

Job Description:

Together with the importer, visit the dealer network to assist with selling and promotional activities, customer visits, demonstrations, and promotions.

Assisting the importers to develop promotional campaigns including the planning of events and development of materials.

Providing feedback to the company on details of the marketplace including, industry trends, sales trends, customer comments related to distribution and product, and competitor information.

Planning and Participating in product launches and product training.

Being responsible for an annual retail target reflecting the company’s retail/wholesale objective.

Following the competitor’s activities such as new product launches, and promotions within the region, and making sure correct pricing/product comparisons and positioning are in place.

Assisting the business director and manager with coordinating with the central product and pricing team to define the optimum, competitive price level for the ASEAN Region.

Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Agriculture/Marketing or Engineering (Agriculture related preferred).

Knowledge of the agricultural industry, Agricultural product knowledge Essential.

Ability to deliver effective communication.

Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a commercial business field would be advantageous.

Ability to set up and operate modern agricultural machinery.

Able to live and work in Bangkok, Thailand and travel extensively through Southeast Asia.

Language Requirement(s): English.
