Job Description - Technical Consultant (Pre-Post Sales)

PRTR’s IT function is looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join one of the global leading companies of ICT (Information & Communication Technology) based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

Having a demonstrable background working as a pre-sales and technical consultant (Business Intelligence and Data Analytics).

Engaging with strategic analytic partners on long-term engagement and enablement.

Leading pre-sales teams for Analytic-focused workshops, Proofs-of-Concept, and Request for Proposals.

Facilitating workshops and training for the sales team, pre-sales team, and strategic partners.

Identifying respective local region needs and focus (e.g., Smart Manufacturing, Data Warehouse, Data Analytic, etc).

Developing the existing content for sales initiatives for local regional context.

Being hands-on expertise in Business Intelligence, Big Data platforms, Data Cleansing, Data analytics, and Data visualization.

Working with marketing and local regional teams to determine what content needs to be localized and distributed.

Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree.

At least 4 - 5 years of working experience in the IT industry.

Strong business analysis and consulting skills.

Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English.

Ability to develop a presentation as well as conduct Proofs-of-Concept, and present to business and technical users, including proven software programming skills (Python, R, SQL a must).

Experience as a consultant to different levels of customer organizations, including technical experts and architects, business analysts, and project managers.

Ability to travel to up-country/customer sites.

Work as a team or independently on complex business / technical problems.
