Job Description - Ormco Sales Representative, Envista


Job Description:

Identifies, develops, manages and retains revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines. Directly, or indirectly, manages the process from lead validation to product and services delivery, working with marketing, customer service, operations and delivery providers to ensure the highest level of supply chain management is delivered to customers. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

Job Requirements:

Ormco Sales Representative needs to perform many of the following tasks:

  • Visits customers in his/her assigned territory on a regular basis to promote the company’s products and services; relate new product information and solicits feedback on those products and services.
  • Applies the customer education programs to maximize the effectiveness.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Number of customer visits
  • Number of customer trainings
  • New customer win rate
  • Sales revenue from the new customers gained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Find and capitalize on opportunities:

  • Prospecting for new leads among the customers who has experience on Ormco products during university education.
  • Performing demonstrations for customers and teaching them how to use the company's products or services
  • Collecting the contact details of leads and sharing them with other sales team members
  • Preparing regularly reports on customer interactions, sales activities, and other tasks assigned by the sales manager or supervisor
  • Attending occasional industry tradeshows and after-hours networking events
  • ROI responsibility for customer T&E events organized by the company.

Keep the CRM system current, accurate, and relevant:

  • Must maintain an accurate, relevant, and timely CRM.
  • Filling the sales funnel with sales opportunities by creating CRM data
  • Customer name / # of chair, # of cases/year, #total patient
  • Prepares periodic reports including:

    Weekly, monthly, and quarterly funnel reports

    General reports and all other reports as agreed to from time to time.

  • Maintain friendly and constructive relationships with dealers, end users and key opinion leaders in his/her assigned territories.
  • Collects, analyses, and reports competitive information through the Sales and Marketing hierarchy.
  • Always understand and support the company’s sales policies and procedures and ensure the proper and effective treatment of the company’s customers.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Academic background, BS/BA, ideally from business, Engineering, or sciences.
  • Strong track record and minimum 2 years preferably in dental business.
  • Driving improved sales efficiency through the rigorous use of sales management tools
  • Takes initiative / proactive.
  • Strong results-orientation, highly organized and able to prioritize.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional groups.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a high customer and service orientation as well as strong relationship building skills.
  • Good command of English
