Regional Sales Manager

Fater is an Italian company, a joint venture between Procter & Gamble and Angelini Industries. In Italy it has been expanding the market of personal hygiene products since the late '60s and it now produces and sells brand products such as Pampers, LINES , LINES Specialist and Tampax.

Since 2013 it has manufactured and distributed the brand products ACE and Neoblanc in 38 countries in Western Europe, the Central and Eastern European markets; Fater is a dynamic company that invests in innovation around 4% of its annual turnover. Our production plants are in Pescara and Campochiaro in Italy, in Porto, Portugal, and in Gebze, Turkey.

We are looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales team in Fater Turkey, in this role you will be responsible for Southern Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean Region .

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Direct Negotiation with assigned Distributors to finalize commercial agreements (in terms of volume/share/promotional plan), in line with FATER business policies and commercial strategy.
• Partnership with Distributors/Customers ensuring business plans rollout: distribution, promotions, customers’ shelves, brand building development, product positioning, merchandising activities, and new initiative launches.
• Being responsible for aligning and signing Joint Business Plans with Distributors and regularly tracking the execution through a joint scorecard system.
• Monitoring budget spending of respective distributors, ensuring the proper commercial strategy implementation, and avoiding any overspending.
• Coordinating Distributors/Customers' commercial, marketing, financial, and IT departments in order to receive regular and granular updates on shipments, spending, P&L tracking, and all other information needed to manage the business properly.
• Coaching and training Distributors’ sales force, direct and indirect staff, sales, and back-office team to ensure the required standard level of operations; he/she is also involved in recruiting dedicated people in Distributors’ organizations.
• Collecting checks and aggregates all information provided by Distributors regarding volumes forecast, promotions, and turnover, to provide the Commercial Team with the right level of information to properly manage the forecast and demand process.

Key qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in Sales with an excellent track record.
• You have experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar client-facing role, preferably in FMCG.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
• You have strong analytical skills with good working skills in MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
• You are Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and Turkish is your mother tongue
• You are a Team player, eager to learn, and result-oriented
