Create consistent high-quality gameplay character and creature animations
Create custom rigs for new asset classes based on Art Director and Game Designers visions
Work with Art Directors, Technical Artists and Developers to understand technical requirements and ensure the pipeline is as efficient as possible
Refine animations and gameplay feel as needed to get the best quality animation within the timeline
Actively participate in technical and artistic discussions and problem solving
Prepare animations for Importing in Unity\Unreal
Prepare refboard for Animations during pre-production stages
A great understanding of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to game animation.
A strong sense of timing
Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions
Proven working history of professional rigging and animation, supported by a strong portfolio
Advanced knowledge of production pipelines
Up-to-date knowledge of modern rigging and animation techniques
Experience shipping at least one title
Experience of making animations for top-down games
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiar to work with game Engines (Unity, UE)
Will be a plus:
3D modeling skills
2D Animations skills
Work closely with other team members to ensure art assets produced with needed quality
