In Essity Turkiye, we are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant who performs below mentioned transactional accounting services according to defined processes, securing efficient, accurate and on time delivery to the respective organization.
This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be based in Kartal , Istanbul office; working on a hybrid pattern which will be 3 days in the office and 2 days flexibility to work from home.

What You Will Do

Getting approvals for all incoming Accounts Payable invoices and proceed with related journal entries in accounting system

Fixed asset, export files bookings and maintain accurate financial records on Accounts Payable ledger

Booking employee expenses into accounting system

Archiving of documents, invoices etc. on a timely basis

Month-end closing activities such as Intercompany reconciliations, support for tax declarations etc.

Proceeding Accounts Payable reconciliations with external vendors

Support resolving external and internal audit findings

Follow accounting standards and Essity policies, procedures, tax legislations and legal regulations

Who You Are

University degree in Finance/Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent with relevant practice

Have equivalent to 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting – especially in Accounts Payable

Fluent in Turkish and good level of English is a MUST

Command of ERP system (ideally SAP BI) / MS Excel is required

Team player with excellent communication skills

Result-oriented

Experience with Invoice approval system is required (command of Invoicetrack will be appreciated)
