Job Description - Area Sales Representative

Our client is one of the world's leading producers of industrial equipment and intelligent automation solutions catering to the apparel and textiles industry.

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to spearhead their expansion into new markets. The ideal candidate should have an extensive sales background targeting the apparel/textiles industry, and a strong network of existing local contacts.

HSK Level 4/5 in Mandarin is PREFERRED, but not required. Professional working fluency in English is REQUIRED.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Business Development: Identify and engage new clients in the apparel and textiles sector, understanding their production needs and offering tailored equipment or solutions.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct client consultations, assess operational challenges, and recommend appropriate industrial equipment, technologies, or services to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to position the company as a market leader.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical, product, and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3-5 years of progressive sales experience targeting this sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, from plant managers to C-suite executives.
  • Familiar with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
  • HSK Level 4/5 in Mandarin is PREFERRED, but not required. Professional working fluency in English is REQUIRED.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
