Job Description - Art Director

Job Summary 

Art Director Will be responsible for leading the visual strategy and execution of our creative projects and campaigns. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Art Director collaborates closely with the Traffic Manager to ensure all visual outputs align with client objectives and project timelines. This role demands a visionary approach to design, inspiring and guiding the creative team to produce innovative and impactful visual content. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the creation of original, engaging visual concepts that
    align with project and campaign strategies and client visions.

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for the visual aspects
    of projects, ensuring they meet the creative brief and exceed client
    expectations.

  • Transform conceptual ideas into concrete designs, preparing
    storyboards, sketches, moodboards, and layouts for approval.

  • Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept to
    final execution, ensuring consistency and alignment with the creative vision.

  • Direct and support the creative team in crafting artwork,
    design files, and visual materials, ensuring the highest quality and
    consistency.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure
    all visual outputs meet the highest standards of excellence.

  • Work alongside the Creative Director and Traffic Manager to
    ensure a cohesive approach to project management and creative execution.

  • Foster effective communication within the creative team and
    with other departments to ensure smooth project workflows.

  • Stay ahead of visual trends and incorporate contemporary
    design practices to keep the agency’s work fresh and relevant.

  • Regularly update the team on new trends and technologies to
    maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

  • Serve as a mentor to creative talents within the team,
    nurturing their skills and fostering their professional growth.

  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help team
    members develop their design capabilities.

  • Review and integrate feedback from the client services team,
    clients, and the creative team, refining designs and visuals to meet the
    highest standards of quality.

  • Lead the collaborative refinement of designs by
    incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

  • Ensure all visual elements align with brand guidelines and
    client expectations.

  • Maintain consistency in visual branding across all projects
    and campaigns.

  • Persuasively present creative concepts to stakeholders,
    clearly articulating the vision and strategy behind the designs.

  • Develop compelling presentations that effectively
    communicate design ideas and solutions.

  • Execute certain creative projects from initial concept to
    final delivery, ensuring all deliverables are completed within given deadlines.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely
    delivery of high -quality work.

  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure the
    successful execution of design projects.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners to
    enhance project outcomes.

  • Implement and leverage AI tools to enhance the creative
    process from ideation to execution.

  • Utilize AI to analyze design trends, optimize workflows, and
    improve design outcomes.

  • Stay informed about the latest AI technologies to
    incorporate them into the creative strategy and maintain a competitive edge.


 




Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related
    field, or an equivalent of 3 -4 years of additional hands -on experience.

  • 7 -9 years of experience in creative fields such as graphic
    design, animation, motion graphics, 3D art, or UI/UX design.

  • 3 -5 years of experience in a creative leadership role.
  • Solid experience as an Art Director within a creative or
    media environment with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of projects.

  • Proficiency in creative  software such as Adobe
    Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other relevant
    creative design tools

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and
    Arabic required; Turkish language proficiency preferred.

  • Strong understanding of motion and design principles,
    typography, color theory, and layout design…

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team
    environment, responding to and managing constructive feedback.

  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize
    tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Centric initiative behaviour that keeps the
    creativity and ideas flow
