JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Lead all process engineering tasks and execution at the site and ensure project-defined standards are followed.
  • Researching, designing, and developing new equipment for make and fill.
  • Developing, configuring, and optimising end-to-end industrial processes, from ideation to certification
  • Equipment FAT, SAT process management
  • Be the key contact between production, QA, RD and project team.
  • Process inputs compiling for utility, civil and mechanical functions.
  • Understand about hygienic manufacturing and CIP requirements.
  • Managing cost and time constraints.
  • Ensuring compliance with both internal and external protocols and regulations
  • Running risk assessments of the equipment and processes being used
  • Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
  • Approve equipment procurement after agreeing with the project manager.
  • Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
  • Train line operators and create plans for their development and asses their capabilities.
  • Participate in conducting trial and industrial tests of new packaging materials, raw materials and finished products.
  • Participate in projects to upgrade existing equipment and purchase new ones.
  • Read, understand, and analyse P&IDs, PFDs and give direction to contractor issues at the site.
  • Follow up the schedule assuring the on-time on the critical tasks and milestones.
  • Organize daily, weekly and monthly catch-up meetings with constructors and stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the review and evaluation of plans, specifications and designs submitted by contractors

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • BS degree in mechanical/chemical/process engineering.
  • Min 2-3 years of Project Engineering in FMCG / related Industry or gained in an engineering consultancy environment is preferred
  • Able to do contractor management at site.
  • Excellent communication skills including preparing/compiling detailed analytical reports
  • Able to use initiative, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Energetic, working in a dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of FMCGs
  • Fluent in English both oral and written.
  • Ability to travel as required for project-related activities.
