We are looking for an Associate Director - Reinsurance Technical Accounting Team

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk as a member of the Reinsurance team in the İstanbul office.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bchelor of Science or Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business administration, Insurance, or other relevant departments of a reputable university
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Having 8 years of experience in the finance or technical accounting departments of insurance or brokering firms will be an asset
• Preferably has a working knowledge of technical insurance accounting or at least eager to learn
• Preferably has advance knowledge and experience of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Hardworking, accurate, result-oriented, open to learning, team player
• Has analytical thinking, brainstorming, and problem-solving skills
• Has creative/innovative approach and self-confidence

Job Description

• Performing technical analysis of accounts and system controls, month end reporting and reconciliations
• Following brokerage and premium collections and payments by means of systematic reports and reconciliations with counterparts
• Preparing regular analysis reports to follow up business performance in respect of business lines (facultative and treaty)
• Booking and allocation fiduciary movements.
• Performing regular benchmark analysis of actual figures in comparison to budget of business lines
• Managing written and verbal communications with the clients abroad
