Job Description - Business Development Manager, Fire

We empower our employees to grow, innovate, and make a real impact, because what matters to you, matters to us.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nWe are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead Eaton\u2019s Fire Systems and Devices portfolio across the assigned territory. You will be responsible for end\u2011to\u2011end sales growth, profit plan execution, and business development with Fire Distributors and Systems Integrators.\n\nThis role requires a proactive, commercially minded communicator who can build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and collaborate effectively with our Country Sales Organisations to deliver revenue growth.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Take full ownership for sales growth and profit plan execution.\n * Define and drive business development strategies and growth initiatives, staying informed on market trends, competitor landscape, and industry activity.\n * Develop existing customers (stockists and Systems Integrators), promoting the full Eaton Fire portfolio and engaging key decision\u2011makers.\n * Target larger project scopes (Tier 1 / Tier 2), with a focus on Digital, Connected, and Cybersecurity-enabled fire applications.\n * Identify and win new business opportunities across systems and devices.\n * Facilitate and strengthen Systems Integrator partnerships, driving customer engagement, meetings, and events.\n * Collaborate with product line, operations, and country sales teams to achieve commercial targets.\n * Implement and manage customer and CSO pricing strategies.\n * Embrace Eaton\u2019s standard processes and tools, including Salesforce and CRM pipeline management.\n * Travel across the assigned region and to the UK Headquarters as required (minimum once per quarter).\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience\n * 10+ years\u2019 commercial experience in the Fire market or a comparable Life Safety industry\n * Proven commercial experience managing large customers, especially Fire Distributors and Systems Integrators\n * Strong working knowledge of fire detection systems, technologies, and relevant standards\n * Fluency in English essential, Turkish is desirable\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Demonstrated track record of excellent customer engagement and satisfaction\n * Analytical mindset with strong business ethics\n * Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills\n * Strong written and verbal communication abilities\n * Effective team player who can also drive self\u2011led initiatives and manage their own pipeline\n * Confident presenter with strong stakeholder engagement skills\n\n\n\n## What we offer:\n\n * A culture rooted in inclusion, safety, and integrity, where you can do meaningful work\n * Access to Eaton University, technical training, and global career development pathways\n * The chance to work with a global leader in Life Safety, contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions\n\n\n\n#LI-AC2\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
