Business Development & Network Specialist

  Job Description

• Analyzes Container Line services in targeted Trade Regions regularly and when needed. Follows market trends, provides intelligences about Port and Liner activities and reports to Management. Takes a role in strategic decisions
• Monitors the Company’s products regularly and provides feedback whenever needed in order to improve financial and operational results or proposes new product analysis to Management
• Acts with high level of stakeholder management including internal and external (Lines, Agencies, Customers etc) counterparts
• Leads preparation of Contracts, Agreements by involving necessary departments like Legal, Operation, Logistics etc and their implementation into daily operations
• Prepares a year-based budget plan and reports the results monthly basis, takes necessary actions
• Participates in cost analysis and pricing processes
• Communicates changes in the followed Services to relevant internal and external departments
• Prepares costs analysis and informs internal and external counterparts in timely manner for smooth invoicing process. Resolves the commercial issues as they arise
• Prepares the profit control report of Arkas Line's partner services
• Prepares utilization analysis of the services and reports to Management, prepares alternative analysis for low productive services
• Takes active role in Projects
• Updates necessary data batches into company’s software system daily basis
• Acts with high level awareness of time management, follows regular tasks in timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities
• Preferably with 5 - 6 years of experience in the maritime industry (worked in departments such as operations, sales and trade)
• Able to speak and write business level of English language proficiency
• Advanced analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Programs
• Open to learning and continues improvement
• Must be able to understand the impact of taken decisions based on reported analyzes overall in the company
