Job Description - Business Development Specialist - GATE LAAC
Provide clinical case support during WATCHMAN procedures in hospitals, ensuring optimal product usage and procedural efficiency Working in close collaboration with the local marketing to set up referral programs, drive therapy awareness , visit referrals and track patients referred Educate physicians and cath lab staff on WATCHMAN product use, patient selection, and procedural techniques through hands-on support and training sessions Act as the primary technical and clinical expert for assigned WATCHMAN accounts, building trust with medical staff and identifying clinical opportunities Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Account Managers (AMs) to translate clinical activities into commercial opportunities Deliver product in-servicing, therapy development activities, and continuous procedural education to expand market adoption and maintain BSC market share Record and manage customer activities and insights through CRM systems, contributing to broader account planning Support in market development initiatives including proctorships, peer-to-peer education, and local society engagement Contribute clinical insights for tender preparation, contracting, and pricing strategies Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training) to localize and implement clinical tools and materials Comply with all quality system and regulatory guidelines in delivering support and training activities Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or a related field Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in a clinical or technical support role within medical devices, interventional cardiology, or structural heart Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, or structural heart procedures Demonstrated ability to work in catheterization labs and operating rooms under pressure Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to travel frequently across the MENA region Fluent in English (Arabic and/or French is a strong advantage) Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities Experience supporting LAAC, EP, or structural heart devices Prior experience with WATCHMAN, LAAO, or competing technologies Experience working with physicians and hospitals in emerging markets
