We are seeking a dynamic and skilled
Cloud Engineer
to join our Cloud Solutions Team. This role focuses on enabling
MultiCloud
environments, with a strong emphasis on
Huawei Cloud
and
AWS, while driving cloud migrations from on-premises infrastructures. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing tech stacks, leveraging the best of managed and self-hosted services, and ensuring the seamless integration of cloud platforms to meet diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Migrations:


• Lead and execute migration projects from
  on-premises
  environments to
  Huawei Cloud,
  AWS, or hybrid cloud setups.


• Develop migration strategies tailored to business requirements, ensuring minimal disruption and high efficiency.


• MultiCloud Architecture:


• Design and implement
  MultiCloud
  solutions that integrate
  Huawei Cloud,
  AWS, and other platforms as required.


• Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency while ensuring interoperability across platforms.


• Tech Stack Modernization:


• Assess and modernize Linux-based technology stacks to align with the demands of cloud-native and hybrid environments.


• Identify and recommend opportunities to leverage
  managed services
  while maintaining the flexibility to operate
  self-managed clusters
  where necessary.


• Infrastructure Management:


• Deploy and manage
  Kubernetes clusters
  with a focus on scalability and reliability, leveraging tools like
  ArgoCD
  for seamless continuous delivery.


• Monitor and maintain infrastructure health, implementing improvements to enhance system availability and resilience.


• Collaboration & Learning:


• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the business and technical aspects of migrations and optimize solutions accordingly.


• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and share insights with the team to foster innovation and growth.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in
  cloud engineering
  with a strong focus on
  MultiCloud
  environments, particularly
  Huawei Cloud
  and
  AWS.


• Expertise in
  on-premises to cloud migrations, with the ability to design and execute tailored migration strategies.


• Strong knowledge of
  Linux-based systems
  and the ability to modernize and optimize existing tech stacks.


• Proficiency in
  Kubernetes
  and
  ArgoCD
  for infrastructure and application management.


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both
  managed services
  and
  self-managed clusters, balancing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Preferred Skills & Traits:

• In-depth understanding of
  multi-cloud architectures
  and strategies for interoperability between platforms.


• Familiarity with cloud-native tools and services across
  Huawei Cloud,
  AWS, and other major providers.


• Strong interest in understanding business objectives and aligning technical solutions accordingly.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps best practices.


• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
