ABOUT US

At Truck Legal Compliance Programs (TL/GCP) we are responsible for and shape the global orientation of the corporate governance approach for Daimler Truck AG as well as the design of the compliance management systems in the controlled entities worldwide.

Our sustainable business strategy is based on integrity and compliance. Therefore, a common understanding of values, which forms the basis for a close, trusting, and successful cooperation with our Sales Business Partners and supplier are of great importance to us.

The "Business Partner Integrity Management" (BPIM) team is responsible for checking the integrity of potential and existing sales business partners and suppliers of Daimler Truck AG worldwide. This check allows us to identify integrity concerns or potential violations of applicable national and international laws and internal regulations at an early stage and we can clarify them together with the business partner. The team makes a valuable contribution to reducing risks and avoiding reputational damage.

We are looking for you as a committed and qualified employee.

The position is located in İstanbul, but the candidate will be directly work for Daimler Truck AG Compliance team in Germany to support worldwide.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Initial evaluation of potential hits in the automated integrity check, which are determined on the business partner data and forward to the responsible sales / procurement departments
  • Sample quality checks for Sales & Supplier Due Diligence
  • Development of an overall quality management system and implementation of quality controls
  • Legal & compliance advice / coordination of confirmed hits by external research provider
  • Creation of work instructions for sales / procurement departments
  • Develop optimization needs in quality testing
  • Improvement concepts for the further development of the BPIM application
  • Advice on the due diligence process / consultations
  • Creation of training documents and training of sales and procurement departments
  • Preparation of data for local purchasing departments
  • Support for the roll-out of the Supplier Due Diligence project internationally
  • Translations of content, e.g., questionnaires, trainings
  • Communication on social intranet channels on best practice and worldwide legal requirements to create awareness and strengthen ESG strategy
  • Reporting on BPIM processes
  • User management of the BPIM application
  • Support in creating or revising reports/dashboards

Qualifications

THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of business administration or economics, law or related field
  • Professional experience in central and operational functions, in compliance or risk management, legal, audit, sales or procurement
  • Experience as a Local Compliance Officer is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the sales structure of Trucks & Buses would be an advantage
  • Affinity to IT topics and processes
  • Independent way of working with a strong team orientation
  • Ability to work in a global and international culture and create strong working relationships
  • High communication and conflict resolution skills as well as a strong willingness to support the procurement and sales organization and the worldwide compliance network
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in written & spoken English, German optional
