Job Description - Correspondent Banking Relationship Lead

As the Correspondent Banking Relationship Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our correspondent banking network. You will ensure regulatory compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic partnerships in the international payments landscape.
Your Role
Build and maintain relationships with local clearing systems, correspondent banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers.
Ensure compliance with SWIFT protocols, AML/KYC regulations, and all correspondent banking regulatory requirements.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the correspondent banking space.
Serve as the primary liaison for correspondent banks and payment service providers, ensuring seamless communication.
Monitor and mitigate risks related to correspondent banking activities and payment services.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate correspondent banking with other business lines.
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for payment operations.
Maintain a pipeline of potential banking relationships and report on correspondent banking activities to senior management.
What We Are Looking For
At least five years of experience in correspondent banking, payment services, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of international payment systems and correspondent banking operations.
Familiarity with AML/KYC compliance and other regulatory requirements.
Understanding of banking back-office operations and day-to-day procedures.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
