Correspondent Banking Relationship Lead

As the Correspondent Banking Relationship Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our correspondent banking network. You will ensure regulatory compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic partnerships in the international payments landscape.

Your Role

• Build and maintain relationships with local clearing systems, correspondent banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers.


• Ensure compliance with SWIFT protocols, AML/KYC regulations, and all correspondent banking regulatory requirements.


• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the correspondent banking space.


• Serve as the primary liaison for correspondent banks and payment service providers, ensuring seamless communication.


• Monitor and mitigate risks related to correspondent banking activities and payment services.


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate correspondent banking with other business lines.


• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for payment operations.


• Maintain a pipeline of potential banking relationships and report on correspondent banking activities to senior management.

What We Are Looking For

• At least five years of experience in correspondent banking, payment services, or a related field.


• Strong knowledge of international payment systems and correspondent banking operations.


• Familiarity with AML/KYC compliance and other regulatory requirements.


• Understanding of banking back-office operations and day-to-day procedures.


• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Willingness to travel as needed.
