We are committed to equal employment opportunities and value diversity in the workplace.\n\nYour key responsibilities:\n\nSampling:\n\n * Compounds fragrance oils as per business priorities and due delivery dates applying global good laboratory practices, standard operating procedures, supported with the digital tools and software available\n * Delivers the minimum required average number of manual pours/days as per the global target and the target defined by the creation lab manager\n * Optimizes the number of pours to be done manually when applicable\n\n\n\nStock management:\n\n * Keeping the personal workbench clean and organized as per the best practices and optimizes its personal collection of raw materials\n * Keeps the personal collection of raw materials fresh and ensures all expired ones are removed from the personal workbench\n * Keeping the personal physical workbench collection up to date with the personal collection in digital systems\n * Organized and up to date on the collection of fragrance oil related to the perfumers/ oil library\n\n\n\nQHSS\u0026E:\n\n * Ensure all operations are done in compliance with Corporate HSS\u0026E procedures and proactively contributes to the improvement of laboratory safety\n * Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment\n * Ensure all samples produced meet the quality standards as per the global SOPs before releasing the samples\n * Report on any non-conformance to the laboratory supervisor or manager, proposes and tests solutions\n * Be a QHSS\u0026E champion\n\n\n\nContinuous improvement and efficiency:\n\n * Adopts a culture of continuous improvement, and actively participates in LEAN projects\n * Operates with a team spirit mindset and supports the colleagues under high workload situations\n * Identifies operational inefficiencies and propose actions using lean Management principles and guidelines\n\n\n\nWe bring:\n\n * A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers.\n * The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose.\n * A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset.\n * A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things\n * An eagerness to be one team and learn from each other to bring progress to life and create a better future\n\n\n\nYou bring:\n\n * University Degree in a scientific discipline, chemistry or science .\n * Must have good laboratory practice experience.\n * 3 years+ experience in a lab environment, preferably within the perfumes or flavours industry.\n * Good English communication skills, both verbally and written\n\n\n\ndsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
