Job Description

• Perform & follow-up import and export operations for vehicles, including document control, system entries, payment requests, job order, document archiving.
• Perform all customs transactions for R&D vehicles, follow up official and internal deadlines, evaluate the processes in terms of customs and other related legislation.
• Apply for necessary import permits (such as IMEI, TRT Bandrol, Inward process regime, etc.)
• Perform all Export Control related activities.
• Responsible for official correspondence in his /her area.
• Guide other departments, support internal projects and prepare management reports in his/her area.
• Follow up changes in legislation, analyze implications on MBT processes and perform/ensure necessary measures are in place for complying with legal requirements, with focus on CBU, R&D and export control topics.

Qualifications

• University and/or masters degree
• Very good knowledge of and personal interest in customs & foreign trade legislation especially in export control
• Customs broker license is preferred
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience in using SAP is a plus
• Good level of English and/or German
• High verbal & written communication, guidance and coordination skills
• Ability to evaluate complex topics, develop action plan and work independently to reach the targets
• Ability to find alternative solutions and facilitate solution oriented decision taking in group discussions
