DeLaval is currently looking for a strong communicator and self-motivated person to drive the implementation of farm advisory services and customer start up trainings in Turkey.

The Dairy Farm Advisor reports directly to the Sales Territory Manager Turkey.

Purpose of role and key responsibilities

• Introduce DeLaval advisory products to the local market


• Together with DSM’s, appoint and train the ones responsible for farm advisory at dealer level


• Introduce and ensure customer training programs to dealers (DelPro, BCS, HN etc.)


• Work closely together with Solution Managers in the preparation of training programs for existing and new solutions


• Responsible for communication and cooperation with outside partners, advisory companies etc.


• Ensure relevant marketing material for training and advisory products


• Build the network and share the best practices with the dealers advisory team


• Participate in relevant internal and external meetings and trainings

In this role you work closely together with District Sales Managers, Solution Managers, the Technical Support team, dealers and dealer employees.

You will also have regular contact with external Advisory companies and our customers.

Location

Turkey.

You will be required to travel about 30% of your time, as well as attend international meetings/trainings.

Qualifications and experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a colleague with the following profile:

• At least a BSc level preferrable in Dairy Herd Management, Animal Science or similar with 3+ years of relevant work experience


• You should possess an in-depth knowledge of dairy herd management, nutritional understanding, animal health, bovine reproduction and effects thereof on herd profitability


• Have a detailed understanding of dairy herd KPI’s, establish acceptable levels and thresholds for intervention


• You need to inspire people to work positively and collaboratively to achieve common targets


• You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of having delivered critical advice to dairy herd managers with successful outcomes


• You have the ability to analyse data and interpret scientific researches


• Practical experience of developing and performing training


• Demonstrated knowledge of DeLaval customer solutions is an advantage


• Professional English (written and spoken) is a plus essential


• Leadership experience is an advantage


• You have a full driving licence

You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable presenting to small and large groups.

You are self-motivated with a positive regard and winning attitude.
