Director of Data

Director of Data, reporting to CEO, is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and strategic utilization of data across the organization. 

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in building large-scale data/software systems with high performance, great usability and highly satisfied customers,


• Experience managing a data team and leading the data strategy of the organization,


• Strong experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data,


• Support our brand-new R&D center with signature data science projects,


• Turn our incredibly satisfying data science project ideas into reality and come up with new ones,


• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings,


• Ability to translate these underpinnings into business implications for the company


• Strong project management skills,


• Comfortable working with different business teams,


• Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner,


• Experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, supply chain optimization, etc.
