About Us:

Tezzro is a retail-focused technology company founded in 2020. We are building our own concept of a modern grocery store that includes a new checkout-free experience. Our first store will be in Istanbul, and we also offer our service to other players in the industry to deploy our checkout-free technology in their existing stores.

We believe the evolution of grocery retail starts by giving customers more space to spend their time, rather than just waiting in line at the checkout. Our core product is a technological mix of Fintech, AI, and IoT stacks

Job Description:

As The Director of Operations in Tezzro Markets, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our innovative store. You will be responsible for managing various aspects of the store's operations to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating on behalf of the company: You will be responsible for leading the negotiations with suppliers and government organizations.
  • Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with vendors to ensure product availability.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline store processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Implement effective systems for product shelving, restocking, and checkout procedures.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure attractive and organized product displays that align with the store's branding and promote sales.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, tracking expenses, and optimizing sales to meet financial goals.
  • Problem Solving: Handle any operational issues or challenges that arise during the course of daily business.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and operational metrics for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Language skills: English and Turkish
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the grocery or retail industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
