We are seeking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join Prismecs. As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will be supporting the commissioning of the data center’s complete power infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, MV/LV switchgear, grounding, and power monitoring systems. Tasks include test script development, FAT/SAT validation, energization, functional performance testing, redundancy validation and failover scenario testing.

Location: This job is located on-site at a customer location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review commissioning scripts for electrical systems across all phases:


• Review commissioning plans and assist in test script development.


• Review FAT/SAT documentation, witness factory tests, support installation verifications, and participate in vendor startup checks.


• Energize equipment, validate load checks, test UPS/generators, conduct failover testing, and verify power infrastructure.


• Conduct load bank tests, simulate failure conditions, validate ATS, protection relays, grounding, and other performance-related tests.


• Support full-system integration and performance validations with Commissioning Agent.


• Independently verify FAT/SAT and commissioning results from vendors.


• Validate UPS systems, switchgear, grounding, and emergency load transfer (ATS).


• Coordinate with SCADA/I&C teams for system interactions and alarms


• Complete documentation and data logging into COMPASS.


• Participate in cause-and-effect validation, LOTO compliance, and punch list closure.

Soft Skills 

• Strong report writing, communication, and coordination skills.


• Ability to lead and support multi-disciplinary teams under pressure.


• Familiarity with Compass / Nexus systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.


• 5+ years of electrical commissioning in hyperscale or Tier III/IV environments


• Strong knowledge of testing on: HV/MV/LV distribution systems and panels (Anord Mardix), UPS systems (Eaton 2x1263kVA / 150kVA), Generators (Cummins 3000kW / 1000kW), Transformers (Siemens 3500kVA / 1000kVA), SCADA integration and protection relays.


• Familiar with national and international electrical testing standards.


• ETAP/SKM software knowledge a plus


• Hands-on experience with relevant tools: Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Ground Resistance Tester, Circuit Breaker Analyzer, Insulation Resistance Tester (Megger), Protection Relay Tester (Omicron), Primary & Secondary Injection Test Equipment and Protection Relay Tester


• Proficient in English (reading, writing and speaking).
