Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Manage quality control processes during electronic PCB assembly (SMT, THT, manual, test).
• Perform root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) and coordinate corrective actions for quality issues.
• Conduct and/or monitor First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process controls, final inspections, and customer-specific checks.
• Collaborate with production operators to ensure quality standards are followed and take immediate action in case of nonconformities.
• Create and update quality control plans and instructions.
• Lead corrective actions based on customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards (IATF 16949, IPC-A-610, ISO 13485).
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke).
• Monitor and report key quality KPIs (defect rate, rework rate, PPM).
• Evaluate effectiveness of inspection equipment (AOI, X-Ray, ICT, functional test) and suggest improvements.
• Prepare quality documents like CoC and FAI reports.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation and reporting.
• Develop user manuals, requirement specs, and dry-run tests to ensure product quality.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and documentation standardization (flow charts, SOPs, forms).
• Contribute to sustainability goals through quality-driven improvement projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Production Engineer in electronic PCB assembly is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System; internal auditor certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards (certification is preferred).
• Knowledge of quality tools such as Pareto Analysis, FMEA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D, MSA, SPC, etc.
• Understanding of test equipment such as AOI, X-Ray, ICT, etc.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with ERP systems (preferably Canias) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility.
