QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering (M.Sc. and Ph.D. is a plus),


• 2+ years of field or academia experience is preferred,


• Knowledge about web technologies; HTTP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JSON, Ajax, MVC and Internet Technologies,


• Knowledge about one of the web programming languages; Ruby, Python, JavaScript etc.


• Knowledge about web frameworks; Rails, Django, etc.


• Knowledge about database management systems,


• Knowledge and general understanding of SQL,


• Basic knowledge about REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models,


• Experience in implementing cross browser web application,


• Strong partnership, communication and coordination skills,


• Ability to work independently to deliver well thought out solutions,


• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,


• Thinking broadly about business,


• Understanding needs of the market & customer,


• Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,

JOB DESCRIPTION

Arçelik A.Ş. is looking for an R&D Engineer ( Smart Device Management Team ) who will work for Innovation Directorate.

·       

• Research, investigate, and develop server side software; services, applications and opportunities.


• Design and set up the architecture for large scale web projects including the framework, database, and analytics,


• Working closely with a cross-discipline team to define and develop front-end implementations,


• Design software side of core server architecture for the service,


• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of new features, deliver them on-time and at highest quality.
