Field Sales Manager | Mersin

At DP World, we are looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our growing Freight Forwarding business in Mersin/Türkiye. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across our Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services. You will spend most of your time in the field, meeting customers, identifying opportunities, and building long-term partnerships while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and opportunity qualification.
• Achieve assigned revenue and gross profit (GP) targets.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on customer quotations and commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to deliver competitive and reliable logistics solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with DP World's commercial policies, sales procedures, and reporting standards.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or a service-based industry.
• Experience in field sales, business development, customer acquisition, and account management.
• Good understanding of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and logistics solutions is an advantage.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop commercial opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a field-based sales environment.
