Who are we at DAppNode?

DAppNode develops and maintains open source software and hardware to make web3 infrastructure accessible for all. DAppNode’s software transforms any machine where it’s installed into a personal web3 server where deploying new blockchains and DApps is a matter of two clicks. 

We abstract the technical complexity and the devops tasks and provide a simple user experience with the objective of 1) allow users to run their own nodes and be sovereign with their access to nodes, validators, etc. And 2) allow DApps and networks to become more decentralized by increasing the number of independent node runners. 

Currently Eth2.0, Gnosis Chain and Avalanche validators are the most used DApps from our users.

Who are we looking for?

We need a Full Stack Developer fluent in Typescript, React and Docker, able to shift between building the back-end and implementing the user interactions according to DAppNode UI’s principles. We value experience in back-end development, Docker and also in blockchain, Web3, and cryptocurrency technology. We need a team member with innovative ideas and effective communication skills to increase value, efficiency, and quality in our organization. To succeed in this role you must:

• Have a deep love of NodeJS, Typescript, and Web 3.
• Be well-versed in Docker, Docker networking and data hosting servers.
• Write squeaky clean and maintainable code
• Enjoy connecting frontend and backend development.
• Adore end-to-end development and guide the project to completion. Have an intuitively analytical and abstract mind with high organizational skills.
• Be comfortable with accepting, giving and applying constructive criticism.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; emphasizing accurate listening and compassionate speaking.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, as our team navigates time zones all over the world.
• Be fluent in written and verbal English.
• Crypto-curious! Crypto experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Prioritize development tasks into sprints that efficiently stay on or ahead of schedule.
• Troubleshoot any “bugs” that pop up.
• Staying current development trends in web applications and programming languages.
• Work with development teams, designers, and product managers to co-create software solutions
• Continually look for ways to improve the UX/UI of the website to support a better user experience, speed, and effective data storage.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Co-create front-end of applications through visually appealing design
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
• Build visually-appealing, easy-to-use components that fit in with the theme of the site.

Who you are

• Professional experience both as frontend and backend developer
• 4+ years of experience
• Knowledge of Typescript, NodeJS, React and Docker.
