About the Team

REEF Technology is seeking a seasoned General Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property (IP) and
E-commerce law. This pivotal role will involve overseeing and advising on a broad range of legal issues
related to our innovative platform, with a particular focus on IP protection, e-commerce transactions, and
potentially blockchain technology applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic and proactive
approach to our legal team, ensuring compliance and driving forward our purpose to build the ecosystem
that connects the world to your block.

What you’ll Do

• Outstanding academic achievements including LLM or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top 5 law school
  in the United States.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of legal experience, with at least five years dedicated to private practice in
  the U.S. or UK.
• Comprehensive expertise in intellectual property law, e-commerce regulatory frameworks, and a
  demonstrated interest or experience in blockchain technology.
• Proven track record of navigating complex legal issues, providing strategic legal advice, and managing
  risk within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement strategies for the protection of REEF's intellectual property assets, including
  patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Advise on legal aspects of e-commerce operations, including marketplace contracts, data protection,
  and digital payment systems.
• Evaluate and address legal risks associated with blockchain technology and its applications within our
  business model.
• Negotiate and draft a wide range of contracts and agreements with partners, vendors, and customers.
• Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and other general corporate
  matters.
• Act as a key advisor to the executive team, offering insights on legal trends and changes in the law that
  may impact the company.
