A Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs that effectively communicate messages and ideas. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including branding, marketing materials, presentations, books, layout design, product packaging, exhibitions, social media graphics, advertisements, and more. The Graphic Designer collaborates with other team members, such as copywriters, marketers, and art directors, to ensure cohesive and innovative designs that meet client objectives and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
Study design briefs and determine requirements.
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
Use appropriate colors and layouts for each design/artwork.
Work with copywriters and the art director/creative director to produce final designs.
Test graphics across various media.
Amend designs after feedback.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on -brand.
Work with the other department team members to ensure visual communications have a consistent look and feel across all customer touchpoints.
Ensure all designed digital -based communications follow the multichannel seasonal concepts and are consistent with the brand guidelines.
Receive briefs from the traffic manager and agree on achievable deadlines.
Manage workload and prioritize briefs in line with the agreed critical path, while communicating any potential delays.
Ensure designs meet the brief prior to handover for sign -off.
Progress to final design following amends and handover in the agreed format or implement online where appropriate.
Provide support and cover for other design colleagues.
Keep up -to -date with new technology, software, and systems.
Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in design, such as using AI for generating design ideas, automating repetitive tasks, and enhancing creative workflows.
Implement and leverage AI tools to enhance the design process, including AI -driven design software and tools for optimizing workflows and enhancing creativity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or an equivalent of 3 -4 years of additional experience.
3 - 5 years of experience in graphics design or related creative fields.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and skilled in creating logos, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
A solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast -paced team environment.
Fluency in English and Arabic is required; proficiency in Turkish is preferred.
