HEAD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DEVELOPMENT

• More than 10 years of proven experience in technical leader or engineering manager roles, preferably in the e-commerce industry
• Strong Leadership, professional attitude – and leading by example
• Bright, highly self-motivated and driven
• Passionate about Software Development with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new emerging technologies,
• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely,
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment,
• Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
• Innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem solving and the ability to develop, deliver and evaluate brilliant ideas founded on rock-solid strategic thinking
• Credible, confident and articulate, with excellent communication and presentation skills and the gravitas to deliver ideas clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority,

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS POSITION?

• Provides technical leadership on IT services operations and implementation projects.
• Coaches a distributed team of engineers, and mentors junior developers with coaching and implementing orientation processes.
• Understands business objectives and customer requirements, facilitates technical discussions and resolutions with the technical stakeholders, and participates in regular meetings with other tech leaders to strengthen collaboration, and alignment on the solutions.
• Leads technical operations to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Facilitates alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Defines quality metrics, KPIs, and best practices for coding and design processes, and provides deep expertise and guidance on the solution development strategies.
• Monitors performance tracking records and plans precautions to ensure the excellence of IT services operations.
• Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through code and design reviews, maintain and monitor workflows and services to provide continuous delivery with high quality.
• Ensures the provision of high-performance on-going maintenance service in line with SLA through the implementation of project scopes and post-live IT services operations,
• Takes responsibility for technical recruiting, evaluations, 1:1 meeting, identifying training needs, motivating the team, and managing the performance.
• Produces outputs that will direct the strategic direction of our products and services, taking into account developing and developing situations,
