Head of Financial Reporting

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Head of Financial Reporting to lead the end-to-end financial controllership, including statutory reporting, IFRS reporting, tax compliance, and cash management.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP


• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting


• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring strict adherence to reporting timeline and accuracy


• Manage GL structure, chart of accounts governance, and accounting policies 


• Lead all direct and indirect tax processes (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, VAT refund)


• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and manage tax audits


• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimization


• Manage banking relationships


• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team


• Collaborate closely with FP&A, consolidation, operations, sales, procurement and external & internal auditors


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in finance processes and systems (e.g. S/4 Hana)


• Improve efficiency and accuracy through automation, standardization, and process redesign

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field


• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) are a strong plus


• Big four audit background is strong advantage


• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance & accounting in multi-national companies, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role


• Strong knowledge of IFRS, TFRS, Local GAAP and Turkish tax regulations


• Advanced knowledge of S/4 Hana and Oracle Hyperion


• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills


• Fluent/Proficient in English and Turkish
