Volt Lines is a technology-powered mobility platform aiming to solve urban mobility problems. We view empty seats in traffic as both the cause of the problem and its solution. There are more than 50,000 buses in Istanbul operating at 9% efficiency and we want to solve this problem. Making shuttle buses smarter, more efficient and dynamic, we create an alternative transportation network that can replace even car ownership. Companies and other institutions can benefit from the Volt Lines transportation network for the daily commute needs of their staff.

About the Role:

Head of Operations

Responsibilities

• Work closely with CEO and upper management.
• Ensure the continuous coordination with the sales, customers success, and operations teams
• Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability of the operation
• Ensure the quality and stability of supply acquisition
• Monitor and optimize monthly operational costs
• Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives
• Perform quality controls and monitor operations KPI’s
• Recruit, train and supervise the entire Operations Team
• Provide high level reporting to top management

• At least 8+ years of experience as an Operations Manager
• Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Budget development and oversight experience
• Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
• Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
• Good command of MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong coaching and team management skills
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Passion to change and improve shared mobility in Turkey
• Eager to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish
