• Coordinate with the Accounting Manager for the day-to-day operations and maintain the update of the general ledger
• Perform daily Nostro Account Reconciliations and follow up with investigations in coordination with Operations and other responsible teams
• Assist the Accounting Manager with the preparation of the financial reports to Local Authorities and to the Head Office
• Assist the Accounting Manager on Regulatory Reporting to BRSA
• Assist department management during internal and external audits, as well as the regulatory audits
• Calculate tax obligations and manage tax declarations
• Adjust the accounting records for VUK ( Tax Law) obligations
• Be detailed to distinguish differences in notifications and payments
• Experience in Tax requirements, preparation, reconciliation, declaration and payment transactions of all the returns that the bank must declare under the tax legislation
• Competence in the preparation of statistical reports/data
• Extensive knowledge on banking accounting applications
• Having the necessary experience and background on technical issues
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements
• Good command of English
• Enter customer information related to the account opening, updates and close transactions into the main banking system

Required Experience

• Experience in Turkish Tax Requirements
• Experience in system implementation, UAT and Chart of Accounts mapping
• Having experience in core banking system usage

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Detail-oriented in order to identify discrepancies
• Being capable of preparing reports/data for statistical purposes
• Having banking accounting practice knowledge
• Good English knowledge
