Job Description

• Leading import operations in line with business plan, budget and performance targets.
• Ensuring full compliance with customs laws and regulations together with customs brokers and consultants.
• Coordinating customs clearance operations with the import operation team and customs brokers.
• Preparing weekly/monthly import costs reports and following up with International Trade Manager and Budget Reporting Manager
• Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with a logistic provider to constantly strive for the most competitive price and good service level.
• Determining the improvement potentials within the Import department and being a bridge between the relevant stakeholders
• Building trust and effective relationships with Sales & Marketing and Accounting departments

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations (Food & Beverage Industry)
• Good team player with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry applications and food import regulations
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Analytical skills and strategic thinking
