Day in the life of an Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist you will find yourself in daily contact with the customers and sales team in order to organize sales and order processing activities. In addition, you will be the first line of support regarding their needs and communicate those via CRM or directly. Another key part of your daily life will be being in contact with our teams across the globe ensuring the fulfillment of the orders we've sold! Of course, there are also meetings with your fellow sales and marketing teams, as well as with upper management for sales reporting. You will be responsible for utilizing multiple resources to track and report all transactions.

Responsibilities

• First line support for end customers on general commercial or basic technical questions.


• Coordinate between Order Management and End Customers or Distributors in case of order queries


• Create annual training calendar, send out mailings and manage training processes


• Interacts closely and support the members of the outside sales team for achieving monthly sales targets.


• Support the central marketing team as well as the sales team with the organization of sales & marketing events


• Own the specific product information and pricelists for the region and prepares offers.


• Manages any necessary contract administration and provides offer preparation support


• Supporting management on various reporting structures (Salesforce (CRM), Sales Reporting etc) 


• Coordinates Product Logistics and Customs processes


• Availability to travel for trainings, Kaizen, regional sales meetings, etc. (approx. 5%)

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Preferably in areas such as mechanical, mechatronics or industrial engineering.


• Preferably having completed internships in multinational engineering/industrial companies or having worked in a similar role.


• Fluency in English is a must.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint etc)


• Ability to understand technical contents.
