Junior Backend Engineer

Opened in 2018, our Turkey office operates as the R&D arm of Rapsodo. We have offices located in Bayraklı & Technopark in the Izmir Ege University, recognized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as one of Turkey’s most successful Technoparks. Our offices incorporate UI/UX, Mobile, Cloud Technologies along with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science and Unity teams. Rapsodo is rapidly growing, and we are looking for team players who will contribute to deliver state-of-the-art solutions with us. We're looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join us for an internship!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior engineers to build and maintain Go-based backend services
• Learn and support the development of REST/gRPC APIs, databases, and CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS)
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Take ownership of small tasks and grow towards managing larger features
  

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Go
• Interest in backend systems and cloud technologies
• Willingness to learn and ask questions
• Good communication skills in English
• Familiarity with Git and basic software development workflows
  

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Some experience with Docker, and any cloud provider
• Exposure to PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases
• Any open-source contributions or side projects
